We get paid through a combination of supplier commissions and our planning fee. Earning supplier commissions does not make your trip more expensive—in fact, thanks to our relationships with suppliers, we’re often able to offer you the best pricing possible – or throw in a perk or upgrade.
JetAbout Travel charges a research and planning fee of $75 per reservation and a group fee starting at $250 per group depending on the complexity of the group reservation. These fees are non‐refundable and non-transferable. Fees are due after the initial phone consultation, prior to the start of the research and planning.
The trip fee includes consultation, research, planning, and quote preparation. Our clients find that they easily recoup the cost of the fee through the value added to their travels.
Custom travel planning is time consuming and for some can be overwhelming – where to go, which hotels to choose, how to get there and once there how to get around, which guided tours are best and what activities and excursions should be a priority. Not to mention any special travel requirements. It’s a lot! We help you sort through the options and handle every detail. You sit back and then Enjoy!
This depends greatly on the actual resort. Some resorts include house wines, domestic drinks and buffet-style meals, while others include multiple gourmet dining options, top-shelf drinks, all activities, tips and more. It’s important to have some guidance so you know exactly what you are getting. Not all resorts are alike.
Two revisions to the initial itinerary are included in the $75/$250+ research and planning base fee. After two revisions, there may be additional fees incurred. We will work with you until we get it right!
Most cruises include your accommodations, meals, some on board activities and taxes. For soda, bar drinks, gratuity, shore excursions and upgraded dining options there is an additional charge. When you work with us we will be sure to let you know exactly what is covered .
JetAbout Travel can assist with booking air worldwide for clients who request this service. Associated fees are as follows:
• Domestic roundtrip flights: $25
• International roundtrip flights: $50
You are able to book your trip with an initial deposit and pay the remaining balance 45-60 days prior to travel, in most cases. We are happy to make payment arrangements.
CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY
These fees are in addition to supplier imposed.
Hotels : $50 cancellation fee per hotel reservation.
Flights : Any reissued tickets will require a $50 (domestic) and $75 (international) ticket reissue or exchange fee, in addition to any
supplier-imposed penalties. Penalties depend on airline booking terms and conditions. Last minute change fees : $200 change fee should there be last minute trip changes within 5 days of departure.
We highly recommend trip insurance to help protect yourself and your trip investment for events such as cancellation, delays, emergencies and in travel assistance. There are different types of insurance available depending on your needs. Please consider purchasing trip insurance a priority.
I work with your schedule to meet when it’s convenient for you. Most planning can be done over the phone. I have daytime, and Saturday hours available. Evenings by appointment only.
My office hours are Tues. – Fri. 9:00am – 5:00pm. Saturday – 10:00am – 2:00pm. Closed Sundays, Mondays and most Holidays.
